Remedy Three Overcoming Social Isolations Durning the Global Pandemic
Welcome back to part three of our weekly series of overcoming lockdown loneliness. I hope you enjoy the mental awareness piece to help you navigate your emotional well-being. How did you make out on the positive self-talk? The more you implement more positive self-talk, the more comfortable you’ll find it. Continue to talk to yourself can impact your confidence. Quarantine Chat
In response to the coronavirus pandemic, quarantine chat developed. Pretty new, and the process is growing. While people can always talk to their friends and family virtually, the experience of spontaneously talking to a stranger is now missing from our lives. This is an excellent idea for those who are physically shut indoors and are feeling Zoom or FaceTime fatigue. It’s a great way to talk to people all over the US via phone chat. I’m still learning the process, even though it was awkward at first. Try it out and let me know in the comments how it works for you,
“No matter where you live or who you live with, it’s normal to feel lonely during an emergency of this scale. And sometimes, it’s just easier to open up to a stranger.” Here is the Vice recommendation on quarantined chat:
Foster Social Connections via Phone
Quarantine Chat is unique for the kinds of connections that are short, simple, deliberate to fosters awareness while maintaining parts of randomness. The conversations are meant to excite unexpected friendships based on a shared interest. You can be creative in storytelling that could pass through the phone.
