It’s been said that “TIme Heals all Wounds”, and I guess that’s true.
After the death of my family, I wallowed in the dark mire for a long time. It’s not a pretty place to hang out, but it was a place where I could be alone with my bottle and my misery until somehow, Time came and pulled me back into the land of the living.
I had the idea for awhile now to write about death, resilience and of course grief, but I also want to write about LIFE.
This is my first post and I can’t believe I actually found the nerve to start this blog, but here I am. I guess I thought no one would care to hear about me, but guess what? I think they do. I know I am not alone when it comes to losing one’s family or loved ones. I am sure that there are others like me out here in cyberspace looking for someone who understands what they are going through.
If you have lost loved ones and are having a difficult time overcoming your grief, I hope to provide resources here for you to try. Or, if you are on your way to recovery, I hope that you will find my articles and stories beneficial in some way.
If you would like to share YOUR story with my readers, then please go to the Contact page and send it to me. I hope to build a village here that shines with positive stories of Recovery and Resilience.
Life happens to all of us, but it’s what we do with our lives that count.
Happy Living…Sandra.
